Grandkids often have much more bring Pressure to bear on on their grandparents than the parents do, which means that your parents may referee to make more visits.
If your parents are still not game to visit, then that is a choice they make and they will just have to live with less Normal visits from your oldest. I think there is great value in the mentoring grandparents do in their own circumstances without parents around, so it is consequential that you encourage your son to afflict his grandparents a couple times a year. As your other Children get through their teens, they will make changes in their visits as well.
